JimmyBefore coming to China, I didn't have much knowledge about China. He said that in France, he had watched Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan since he was a child. They are heroes in his heart and part of the window for the French to understand China. When he first came to China, he first went to Hong Kong, then had the opportunity to go to Shenzhen, and then went to Hainan.

He found that compared to Hong Kong and Shenzhen, two more industrialized and densely populated places, Hainan gave him a more rural and peaceful feeling. In Hong Kong and Shenzhen, he saw busy streets and bustling crowds, while in Hainan, he felt a more relaxed and peaceful pace of life.

As Jimmy is not a French who grew up in a big city, he is not very comfortable with life in a big city. The pace of Shenzhen and Hong Kong is too fast, which makes him feel some pressure.

In Hainan, Jimmy had the opportunity to learn more about Chinese life for the first time. He found that the people here in Hainan are warm and hospitable, with a leisurely pace of life. When communicating with them, Jimmy realized the importance of language. Due to not being able to speak Mandarin, I have encountered great difficulties in understanding Chinese culture and customs. Therefore, he began to work hard to learn Mandarin and made some Chinese friends in order to better integrate into the local life.

Jimmy is also attracted to Chinese kung fu culture. Although he had seen many kung fu movies before, he was deeply shocked when he saw Chinese people practicing kung fu. The smooth movements and superb martial arts performances opened his eyes.

Jimmy discovered that China is a vibrant and diverse country with rich culture and history. Although he didn't know much about China before, this trip has given him a deeper understanding and recognition of China. I feel that China is much bigger than I imagined, and there are many things that I didn't have the opportunity to see before.

Jimmy was originally engaged inPR， But I am fortunate to have the opportunity to work as a university teacher in Hainan. At that time, although his work was only 14 hours per week, he still managed his own company and his life was not busy, but he found it very interesting.

During his work in Hainan, Jimmy participated in many projects and met several directors, starting to help them produce some larger works. Later, some even approached Jimmy to shoot documentaries. This gradually led him into the film and television industry, and he found it very interesting for himself. Jimmy said he is someone who easily gets bored, so whenever he finishes a job and feels like he has done it well, he starts to feel bored and wants to learn new things.

The filming of music videos has become Jimmy's summer job, and it seems to suit his personality very well. He began to try shooting different types of works without a specific style or theme. Jimmy set himself a two-year learning goal, during which he helped his friends shoot various things, whether it was characters, children, dishes, products, or event performances. He found that the best way to shoot is to find a suitable shooting method based on the content that needs to be shot. The most attractive part of this job for him is constantly searching for new shooting methods and creativity.

After one or two years of learning and practice, Jimmy began to slowly organize and showcase his works. At first, he just wanted to learn all the shooting techniques and gradually establish his own shooting style. Now, he has his own ideas and style, but he is still willing to listen to clients' opinions. Of course, he is not someone who completely listens to customer opinions and will maintain his own creative style and independence while respecting customer needs.

Jimmy became obsessed with the process of constantly learning and exploring through filming. No matter what subject matter we shoot, we will try our best to learn and experiment with new shooting methods to present the best works.

Jimmy is not someone who starts shooting every day. When he sees a photographer who has to take on any photography orders due to a lack of work, he thinks that he cannot be in such a situation. He said to himself:I want to shoot for my own passion, not just for making a living.

Jimmy chose to use a rather unique camera, such as an old point and shoot camera. stayIt is difficult for viewers to tell which camera was used to take photos shared on Instagram, as they believe that older cameras can also capture good photos.

Jimmy chose to use film for shooting not because it is convenient, but because it can bring a different shooting experience. When he takes photos for work, he will do his best to ensure that high-quality photos are taken. But when he uses an old camera to shoot, he cannot predict the final result, and this uncertainty gives him more freedom. Even though the photos taken may not be perfect, the joy and emotional connection during the shooting process are very important to Jimmy.

He really likes the dual camera, even though it's not convenient to use and the image is mirrored and flipped when framing, but Jimmy just likes that feeling. He also likes to use medium format cameras and wide-angle lenses, especiallyA 25mm lens. I like the different feelings that photos bring after shooting and developing, the surprise and uniqueness that cannot be completely controlled.

Sometimes Jimmy would use airplane rolls to take photos, initially just to test the camera, but later discovered that even if the developed photos had flaws or errors, he enjoyed the feeling of irreplicability.
