Yangon, located on the banks of the Irrawaddy River in central Myanmar, is a shining pearl of Myanmar, bringing together economic prosperity and cultural splendor. This city covers an area of598 square kilometers, with a population of approximately 7 million, of which 90% are Burmese, and the rest are Chinese, Indian, and others. Yangon Mountain is like a green barrier, extending from the north into the city center, while the east, south, and west sides of the city are paved with vast and boundless plains, like poetry and painting.

The former Yangon was known as"Daguang" was once a peaceful fishing village nestled by the Yangon River. In 1755, it was renamed "Yangon", meaning "the end of war" in Burmese, and thus was given the reputation of "City of Peace". In 1852, the Second Anglo Burmese War came to an end, and the British occupied area had Yangon as its capital, giving it a prominent position for a while. Afterwards, Myanmar declared independence in 1948, and Yangon naturally became the capital, witnessing the country's rise. However, the course of history always changes unintentionally. In November 2005, Myanmar moved its capital to Naypyidaw, and although Yangon's position has been adjusted, its historical heritage and cultural charm still shine brightly.

Today, Yangon, as a deep-water port with thousands of tons of ships freely shuttling, has become the largest port in Myanmar, connecting the world's oceans like an artery. At the same time, Yangon is also the aviation hub of Myanmar. The Minkaradong International Airport, standing in the northern suburbs, is like a huge wing carrying guests from all over the country, becoming the main gateway to Myanmar.

Yangon is also a beautiful coastal city known for its tropical scenery and rich cultural characteristics. The climate here is pleasant all year round, with blooming flowers andKnown as the Garden City. In the city of Yangon, the glorious characteristics of the colonial era are preserved, and folk architecture combines the beauty of traditional Burmese style and Western style architecture. Strolling through the city center, countless gilded or white stone pagodas come into view, among which the most dazzling is the Great Golden Pagoda located on the holy mountain in the north of the city. It is not only a landmark building in Yangon, but also a symbol of Myanmar. In addition, the two urban pearls of Royal Lake and Lake Inna have added unique charm to Yangon. Royal Lake is an artificial lake built during the British colonial era, with rippling blue waves and graceful egrets. It has now become a good place for citizens to relax and entertain; Yinya Lake is one of the largest inland lakes in Myanmar, injecting a natural beauty into the city with its peaceful and elegant environment, lush trees, and fragrant flowers.

Yangon, the heart of Myanmar, sleeps by the river. The lake and mountains paint their eyes together, while the Great Golden Pagoda guards their souls. Time flows by, yet it remains serene and beautiful, attracting the world's attention and longing.
