Under the wave of globalization, Indonesia is actively seeking deep cooperation with China in the field of new energy vehicles. Recently, Indonesian Minister of Industry Agus met with Chinese Minister of Industry and Information Technology Jin Zhuanglong in Beijing and signed important agreements with four Chinese car manufacturers, Nezha, Wuling, Chery, and Xiaokang, to jointly build Indonesia into a production center for electric vehicle exports.

It is reported that the signing of this agreement marks a solid step for Indonesia in the field of new energy vehicles. Four Chinese car manufacturers will leverage their respective technological and market advantages to establish production bases in Indonesia and plan to export their electric vehicles to 54 countries worldwide. This will not only promote the development of Indonesia's electric vehicle industry, but also provide new opportunities for Chinese car companies' internationalization strategies.

As a leader among them, Nezha Motors plans to sell 10000 electric vehicles in Indonesia every year and is committed to increasing the proportion of locally produced components, which is expected to reach 60% by 2025. The achievement of this goal will greatly enhance Indonesia's position in the electric vehicle industry chain, while also bringing consumers higher quality locally manufactured products.

Wuling Motors will expand its export market for electric vehicle products in Indonesia. The Indonesian government fully supports this and believes that it will help consolidate Indonesia's position as an electric vehicle production base in Asia and even globally. The addition of Wuling Motors will further enrich Indonesia's electric vehicle product line and meet the needs of different consumers.

Chery Automobile plans to develop plug-in hybrid vehicles in Indonesia and promises to produce 100000 electric vehicles by 2030. The achievement of this goal will greatly promote Indonesia's progress in the field of new energy technology, and also promote deep integration between Indonesia and the global market.

Xiaokang Corporation is expected to develop electric vehicles and introduce new models in Indonesia, with a planned production capacity of up to 50000 units. The joining of this enterprise will inject new vitality into Indonesia's electric vehicle market and promote the sustainable development of the industry.

The signing of this agreement has been warmly welcomed and fully supported by the Indonesian government. The Indonesian government has set a goal to produce approximately 600000 electric vehicles by 2030. This cooperation with Chinese car companies will provide strong support for achieving this goal.

In addition, Minister Agus also discussed cooperation in the petrochemical industry with the Chinese side and invited Chinese companies to expand their business in Indonesia and seize investment opportunities. The current annual output of Indonesia's petrochemical industry exceeds 14 million tons, but it still cannot meet domestic demand. The joining of Chinese enterprises will bring new development opportunities for Indonesia's petrochemical industry.
