In order to ensure full supervision from production to export, Vietnam needs to accelerate the digitalization process of coconut planting area code management. At the same time, cracking down on fraudulent activities and maintaining the brand image of Vietnamese agricultural products are also urgent tasks. In addition, the diversified development of the coconut industry is also a major trend for the future. Nguyen Thi Kim Thanh, Chairman of the Vietnam Coconut Association, pointed out that investment in the research and processing technology of high-quality coconut varieties should be increased to enhance the overall industrial value.
Deputy Director of Quality, Processing and Market Development Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of VietnamLi QingHe stated that coconut has been included in the list of major cash crops, and the agricultural department will introduce more supportive policies. Various regions should fully utilize these policies to help farmers expand production, improve industrial efficiency, and jointly consolidate Vietnam's position in the international coconut market.
