Recently, Myanmar is facing unprecedented power shortages, with frequent power outages and restrictions causing great inconvenience to people's daily lives. In response to this dilemma, more and more Burmese people are seeking alternative energy solutions, among which solar energy has become a favored choice due to its clean, renewable, and independent power supply characteristics.

It is reported that Yangon, the largest city in Myanmartwo thousand and twenty-fiveA solar energy and energy storage product expo was successfully held from January 10th to 12th, which gathered numerous exhibitors of solar energy products and attracted a large number of citizens to visit and learn about them. The exhibited products cover various aspects of solar power generation and energy storage, such as solar panels, inverters, and energy storage batteries, providing citizens with a comprehensive understanding of solar products.

Against the backdrop of power shortages, the Myanmar government is actively seeking solutions. Yangon Power Supply Company recently issued a statement stating that due to a decrease in electricity production, the company will distribute electricity proportionally to various regions and states across the country. Yangon city is divided into three areas, with each area receiving four hours of power supply and eight hours of power outage. Although this measure has alleviated the problem of electricity shortage to some extent, it still cannot meet the electricity needs of citizens.

In order to meet the growing demand for electricity, the Myanmar government has begun actively utilizing renewable energy resources such as hydropower, solar energy, and wind energy. However, due to Myanmar's location in a tropical region with abundant but unevenly distributed rainfall, the development of hydropower resources is somewhat limited. As a 24/7 available energy source, solar energy has broad prospects for development and utilization.

In addition, many citizens have also begun to try installing solar panels at home to solve the problems caused by power outages. Despite some difficulties in installing solar panels in some multi story apartments, citizens are still actively seeking suitable solutions. Some citizens have expressed that they are considering using portable solar generators or installing solar panels on rooftops and other locations to ensure continued power supply during power outages.
