This year, Thai Airways will actively adopt an expansion model, planning to book 45 Boeing aircraft and possibly further purchase 35 or more. Thai Airways has adopted a slimming plan during the restructuring process, raising funds through layoffs of over half of its employees, sale of aircraft and properties, and other means.
