In Laos, the dry season is hot and dry, and the temperature difference between day and night is large, so the inspection team worked tirelessly to visit Vientiane Province, Sesong Province and other places to select a site for the upcoming Qingqiao Group Southeast Asia International Security Training Base.

Ha Lao (southern region) includes four provinces: Saravan, Segun, Champasak and Attapo. The level of agricultural economic development in the southern region is not as good as that in the central region, but it has the advantages of transportation, resources and market for the development of export-oriented agriculture. Zhongliao (central region) comprises five provinces and one city, namely Vientiane, Sasongben, Polikansai, Khammouin, Savannakhet and Vientiane. The central region is mostly plains, including the plains along the Mekong River. The area has relatively complete infrastructure construction, convenient transportation, concentrated institutions of higher learning and scientific research institutions, and is a relatively developed area in Laos.

One of the sites of the expedition was Xaisomboun Phonpha Kormi in Pompa District, Sai Songben Province. Xaisomboun Province is a topographic step and land traffic point between the Sichuan Khouang Plateau in Shangliao Prefecture and the Vientiane Plain of the Mekong River in Zhongliao Region, about 50 km northeast of the Char Plain. The province is bordered by Chuan Khouang Province to the northeast, Vientiane Province to the west, Vientiane City to the southwest, and Bolikansai Province to the southeast. Saison Province consists of 5 districts and 93 villages, with a population of about 10,2 and an area of about 8300,<> square kilometers.

Sai Song Ben province is mostly mountainous, and the rivers are rich in natural resources, suitable for the development of hydropower. In addition, Sasong Province is rich in mineral resources and tourism resources, with 50 tourist attractions, and has the highest mountain in Laos, and has convenient transportation with the surrounding provinces of Polikansai, Siengkhouang and Vientiane. However, because most of the terrain is mountainous, Sai Songben's rice production is the lowest in the country. The main food crop in Laos is rice, which accounts for 85% of the country's crop cultivation, and more than 70% of the country's residents grow rice.

Xaisomboun province was separated from Vientiane and Chuan Khouang provinces in 1994 and was home to an important military base for CIA special forces during the Laos Liberation War in the 20s of the 60th century. Unexploded ordnance remains in the eastern part of the province.

The second base of the mission was Penghong County, Vientiane Province, located in the central region of Laos, bordering Vientiane City, the capital of Laos, in the south, which is the capital city of Vientiane Province, and across the Mekong River in the south, facing Thailand.

Vientiane Province has a population of about 45,11 people, with 433 counties and 153 villages, and agricultural cultivation is mainly based on rice and tobacco. The province is one of the more popular tourist destinations in Laos with <> attractions, of which Vang Vieng is a famous leisure resort in Vientiane Province. Tourism is the second largest industry in Laos and a popular industry for foreign investment.

Vientiane Province has very important energy and non-metallic deposits, including Vang Vieng Iron Mine, Palai Iron Mine, Parong Lead-Zinc Mine, Caiso Lead-Zinc Mine, Fukai Gold Mine, Bozhan Coal Mine, Vientiane Potash Mine, and the scale of the deposits is very large.

Vientiane, the capital of Laos, is one of the few capitals in the world located near the national border, connecting Dali, Kunming, Nanning in China and Hanoi in Vietnam to the north; To the south, you can connect Bangkok, Phnom Penh and Ho Chi Minh. Water transport has been the main role of Laos' cargo transportation since ancient times, and the Mekong River, which runs through the country from north to south, is the main artery of water transport in Laos. In recent years, Laos' aviation industry has developed rapidly, and there are 14 airports and more than 20 routes in Laos, mainly radiating to the provincial capitals centered on Vientiane. Among them, there are 4 international airports, Attapo International Airport, Luang Prabang International Airport, Pakse International Airport, Wattay International Airport, and the most commonly used is Vientiane Wattay Airport in Vientiane City.

Land transportation in Vientiane Province is also extremely convenient. The Lao-China Railway has three stations in Vientiane Province, including Penghong Station, Vang Vieng Station and Ga Xi Station, which is only an hour's drive from the capital Vientiane City. On April 2022, 4, the Penghong Station of the China-Laos Railway officially opened its freight service, which is a key passenger and freight station in Vientiane Province of Laos, and another freight station in central Laos after Vientiane South Station and Vang Vieng Station, which plays an important role in promoting the export of commodities in central China.

With the promotion of China's "One Belt, One Road" strategy, the demand for international security in overseas markets has become more urgent. The site selection and preparation of the Southeast Asia International Security Training Base of Qingqiao Group has received strong support from the General Logistics Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security, the Production and Economic Administration Bureau and other departments, and it also shows that the Lao government attaches great importance to the international security industry. Relying on local government resources, complying with local laws and regulations, and with a high sense of responsibility and mission for the security industry, Qingqiao International Security Group strives to escort more "going global" enterprises, especially Chinese enterprises and overseas Chinese, and be the "escort" on the "New Silk Road".
