The display location for the S400 drone flight was originally designated by the Ministry of Public Security of Laos. The Ministry of Public Security of Laos is located on Nongben Road, Dongbalan Village, Zhantabri County, Vientiane City, in the city center of the capital city of Vientiane.

As of 2021, there are 969000 permanent residents in Vientiane City. Long term, multi dynamic flight displays of drones over the city will to some extent interfere with residents in the central urban area, potentially causing unnecessary information speculation and panic. Considering the above considerations, the Lao Ministry of Public Security has adjusted the display location for this flight to a prison in Vientiane, Laos. The prison is located in the outskirts of Vientiane, and the surrounding geographical environment and special requirements for flight applications pose new challenges for the Universal UAV demonstration team. This will also be the practical application of S400 for special supervision.

S400 Application in Special Regulatory Places

UniversalThe S400 demonstration team quickly adjusted the original exercise plan and script, and designed a series of drone control actions tailored to the geographical environment and prison application scenarios of Laos based on the on-site and surrounding conditions of a prison in Laos, as well as the climate conditions. The S400 flexibly rolls and turns in the air, beautifully completing a series of actions such as vertical takeoff and landing, one click acceleration, full speed emergency stop, tilt flight, hovering, etc. At the same time, it showcases intelligent functions such as autonomous takeoff, autonomous cruise, intelligent obstacle avoidance, one click return, and real-time data transmission.
