01The unofficial results of Thailand's general election have been released, with the Kadima Party ranking first
According to data from the Thai Election Commission, 99% of the votes in the Thai House of Commons elections held on May 14th have been counted, with the Kadima Party winning 151 seats and the Thai Party winning 141 seats. The total number of seats for both parties has exceeded half of the total 500 seats in the House of Commons. Apart from the two parties mentioned above, the Thai Pride Party has won 71 seats, ranking third, the Thai Civil Power Party has won 40 seats, and the Thai National Unity Party has won 36 seats, The Democratic Party won 25 seats. The remaining seats are divided among the other 12 political parties.
The leader of the Kadima Party who has won the most seats, Pita Limgarongarat, stated that he has already communicated with four political parties, including the Wat Thai Party and the Thai Liberal Party, and is expected to establish a ruling alliance formed by the four parties. He is also ready to serve as the Prime Minister.
According to public sources, Pita Limgaroonrat was born on September 5, 1980 and was the first Thai student to receive the Harvard International Student Scholarship. He graduated with first class honors in 2002 with a Bachelor's degree in Business and Accounting. Subsequently, Pita obtained a Master's degree in Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. After his father's death, Pita returned to Thailand and served as the CEO of his family owned rice bran oil company.
01Cambodia pepper approved for export to China
On May 11th, the General Administration of Customs of China released the list of registered enterprises for exporting Cambodian seasonings to China, marking that Cambodian pepper has completed all procedures for exporting to China and can be exported to China. There are a total of 28 pepper planting bases and 7 packaging factories registered and approved by the Chinese side for export to China. Pepper is the first Cambodian agricultural product approved for export to China this year, and also the first seasoning crop approved for export to China in Cambodia.
