According to statistics, the cumulative number of labor personnel dispatched by China to Laos in 2019 was about 25000 people, and Chinese labor accounts for about 40% of the total foreign labor in Laos, mainly distributed in China Laos railway, hydropower station, highway and mineral resources development projects.The China Electric Power Construction Project and the Laos China Railway Project are the sectors with the largest proportion of Chinese laborers in Laos, accounting for approximately 60% of the total number of foreign laborers in Laos.In 2022, Chinese enterprises will send 259000 laborers of various types overseas.
In recent years, the international situation has become increasingly complex and ever-changing, and security threats such as international and regional turmoil, terrorism, piracy, major natural disasters, and infectious diseases have also increased. This not only affects the overseas operations of Chinese enterprises, but also seriously threatens the safety of the lives and property of overseas Chinese personnel.The overall security situation in Laos is stable, but there are still many unstable factors influenced by neighboring countries.Safety hazards cannot be ignored.
During the meeting, Acting Consul General Diao Ming affirmed the international strategic positioning of Qingqiao International Security Group and proposed suggestions for ensuring the personal and property safety of Chinese enterprises.Lu Zhicheng, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Qingqiao International Security Group, stated that Qingqiao International Security Group is a young force and is still a long way from being a top international security enterpriseDistance.Increase technical defenseEnsuring strength and building an emergency linkage system are currently the phased tasks of Qingqiao International Security Group in Laos.The next step will also be to increase the security training efforts of overseas enterprises, so as to gradually enhance individual security protection capabilities.
