Politics: Joint Statement by China and Cambodia on Building a China-Cambodia Community with a Shared Future in the New Era

The official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China released the Joint Statement of the People's Republic of China and the Kingdom of Cambodia on Building a China-Cambodia Community with a Shared Future in the New Era.

The statement said that China and Cambodia will unswervingly deepen the intimate "iron" friendship, unswervingly carry out mutually beneficial and win-win practical cooperation, and unswervingly promote the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind. The two sides announced the launch of a series of celebrations for the "China-Cambodia Friendship Year".

The two sides held the China-Cambodia Economic, Trade, Investment and Tourism Forum and signed a number of cooperation documents, covering diplomacy, economic and trade, development cooperation, agricultural products exported to China, infrastructure, media, cultural heritage protection and other fields.

Laos-Cambodia

Politics: Laos-Cambodian cooperation continues to advance

The Prime Minister of Cambodia, who is visiting Laos, said that the long-term relations and cooperation between Cambodia and the Lao people are increasingly promoted.

Cooperation between the two sides, especially in the fields of defense and public safety, economy and trade, investment, finance, electric power, public works and transportation, social culture and tourism, and border affairs, has been continuously advanced.

Business: Vietnam Airlines races to find more investors

Vietnam Pacific Airlines, Viet Bamboo Airlines and Vietnam Travel Airlines are looking for investors to get more resources to weather the difficult market period.

Currently, each airline has its own advantages in attracting investors. Pacific Airlines, part of the Vietnam Airlines Group, has beautiful take-off and landing points at important airports such as Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat, which are difficult to find later. At the same time, Yuezhu Airlines is the fastest growing airline, with a network covering the domestic market and multiple international destinations.

According to the current regulations, foreign-funded airlines must meet the capital requirements, the proportion of foreign-funded organizations and institutions in chartered capital shall not exceed 34%, and the membership of foreigners shall not exceed one-third of the total number of members participating in the executive agency.

Business: Circular economy is an economic opportunity for Vietnamese businesses

Trade: Brunei wants to further develop trade relations with Vietnam

Brunei media have reported information about the visit of the Prime Minister of Vietnam to Brunei.

Brunei hopes to further develop trade relations with Vietnam, especially through joint ventures in the aquaculture sector to help build the capacity of local industries and ensure food security. At the same time, the ongoing educational cooperation between the University of Brunei Darussalam and the FPT University in Da Nang, as well as the implementation of visa-free, will bring people closer together and create favorable conditions for trade in goods and services between the two sides.
